DO YOU WANT TO LEARN LONG AND SHORT STITCH BUT THINK IT IS WAY TOO HARD?
It is easier than you think!
Get started now!
This is my progress in needlepainting. Once upon a time I was so scared to experiment with shading that I preferred working long and short stitch in one color because... like that my faults were not as noticeable.
Fast forward to present days and I can confidently say that there are things in commonly spread diagrams and teaching of long and short stitch that ENCOURAGE you to work it the wrong way and FORCE you to make mistakes.
I learned it through trial and error and it took me few years to come where I'm at now.
Great news! You can save your time and learn all the tricks and secrets now!
The image on the left is where I tried to imitate the most common mistakes that I see beginners doing. There are just four of them. Just four mistakes that ruin your experience with needlepainting.
And I will tell you all the solutions on how to fix them so that you come to the result on the right.
There is no magic here. You WILL have to put in effort because new results will not happen overnight. You will have to get used to all the fresh knowledge, re-develop certain habits and learn to shut down the past ones.
IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME BUT THE RESULT WILL BE WORTH IT. AND...
We will actually SPEED UP this process by working special exercises!
These are long and short stitch exercises for your MINDFUL PRACTICE.
- We take on different challenges each time and recreate various situations you might encounter in your long and short stitching.
